Our four pillars
Women and Girls Economic Empowerment: Strengthening the economic resilience and livelihoods of women and girls through entrepreneurship, vocational skills development, financial inclusion, and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Leadership, Governance and Peacebuilding: Promoting meaningful participation of women and girls in leadership, governance, and peacebuilding processes to strengthen inclusive decision-making and social cohesion
Protection, SRHR and Gender Equality: Strengthening protection systems and promoting the health, rights, and dignity of women and girls through improved access to SRHR services and GBV prevention and response mechanisms
Climate Resilience Programming: Promoting climate-resilient livelihoods, environmental sustainability, and food security for women and girls through climate-smart practices and adaptation strategies.

SHE SOARS Initiative
WEIPD’s flagship program focused on empowering out-of-school adolescent girls through integrated interventions across the four program pillars. The initiative strengthens girls’ leadership, protection, health, economic opportunities, and climate resilience while engaging families, youth, and community leaders to create supportive environments.

With strong academic credentials and extensive field leadership in fragile and conflict-affected settings, our founding team is committed to delivering credible, accountable, and transformative programs that empower women and girls to lead change and build sustainable peace in South Sudan.
